No spark
Ok, just got my 7 home on sunday and it wont start.
I've put fresh petrol in, but when i checked for a spark, it has none on any cylinders.
Questions, could the igniter box have failed? and if so, would a B model 9 one do the job for the process of elimination?
Cheers.

Re: No spark
t'was working when I had it
(helpful eh?)..
Did the little scrotes damage anything last night?
The 9 cdi should work, but has a lower redline..the 7 one would be a better bet...
Check the plugs haven't been fouled ... it has stood about 2 weeks without being used...

Re: No spark
Have you tried a multi meter to check for voltage at the input to the igniter coils

Re: No spark
It Lives !!!
Panic over. I put the 9 cdi box on and it fired up straight away, put the 7 one back on and it works.
I'm confused but happy. No change there then.
Cheers Pete and Dave, i was starting to pull me hair out there for a couple of hours.
She sounds bloody nice.
