would this fit?

Post by Mav »

just curious if this would fit my F1P? scorpion can

not sure about all this bike to bike sizing and mod stuff so thought i'd seek advice here, i know i've read before that some of you are using bits off of other models or even other bikes / manufactures altogether so since im looking for a carbon Scorpion exhaust i thought i'd post here :)

Thanks in advance guys

I would be doubtful but I may be corrected. Am sure have seen on here the differences especially in link pipe diameters between the different models.

Am sure others could be more definate :?

I got a twin exit tri oval for my F1 from these guys. removable baffles too. Excellent quality :D

No it won't fit mav ,

Cs don't even have a removable link pipe so that would involve cutting the std system , it may be the wrong picture

You need F model specific , Es are diffrent

defo no it wont fit as torque said no link pipe on Cs so wrong advert
get intouch with him & ask mav. it might be off an E or an F but could also be off a B
you could get a can off a C, E or F to fit so long as its a bolt on as there all the same fitting. just the can no link pipe.

Ackers has a Scorpion on his and it sounds beautiful.

i've always thought the Aka's sounded kinda small if that makes sense :p

thanks for advice guys will keep my eyes open for other things then, also on the look for an Art can as they too sound really good. (well both do on the E1 not sure about the F1P) :)

is it a full akra system or just end can?
correct me is im wrong but i would have thought as long as you can get a link pipe to fit at both ends the can would fit. and if it is a full akra are the header pipes the same bore as standared(link pipe end)header's.

Cut 6 inches of an Aka, and leave the wadding out like i did, it'll sound big enough then matey. :D

hey9r im interested in hearing what yours sounds like now :)

im watching that one on ebay at the moment so depending on how high it goes i might plump for it.

As for the setup i have its just the end can not the full system. If i had the knowledge and the tools i might give the cutting down a go Alex ;)

well i thought i'd give it a go with my dads power saw, i thought it would be easier to do it while it was attached to the bike so it didnt move about much.

i tripped over the power cord for the saw and im pretty gutted as i chopped into the bike itself :( :( :( :(
