cheers for the info, ask the guy who's breaking this bike wanted £15 plus VAT plus postage . when all i want is the fuel tap knob and the bolt to secure it everything else is ok.

Check you havent stripped the threads

It ain't got no threads, it's a plastic handle and a screw to bolt it onto the tap mechanism.

I've found it and the screw is still inside it as well. It's in good nick actually, the end that fits onto the tap isn't worn, just the paint missing from the lettering on it, but they all do that sir.

If you are coming to collect it PM me to arrange, if i'm posting it i'll expect a couple of quid to cover postage, it's up to you mate.
