Neutral light comes on when clutch lever is pulled in

I noticed this week you can only start my C2 when the gearbox is in neutral, it will not start if its in gear when the clutch lever is pulled in.

I had a look at the clutch lever switch and found it not to be connected and after looking around I located the connector taped to the loom.
