Zx6r I wheels

Post by Zed1 » Mon Feb 10, 2020 5:36 pm

Hi anyone know if the wheels off a zx6r j 2001 will fit a c1 ? Wheels and discs are the same size but don't know about the axle. Cheers Paul

If no one gives up the info, you could do a comparison for the wheel bearing sizes, another variable could be the wheel hub width.
You take the blue pill—the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill—you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes. Remember: all I'm offering is the truth.

Another thing to take into account is the disc rotor centres.
Wheel bearings can be changed, but some may be wider and require custom spacers. If the discs have a different offset, or the hub is slightly different, you may need to shim your calipers to re centre them

I had to do this fitting zx10r rims.

The c is 296mm the j I am fairly sure is 300. 2mm difference on the pads in theory .
Think j is 25mm front axle as well. I personally hate that fact the kwak f*ck about so much . It’s a lot easier and cost effective to run one size but they kept going back and forth and changing pt numbers :-X
Suzuki stuff tends to slot in others a lot easier and big h tended to be a lot more generic , which triumph then copied . Don’t know enough about yams

zx6r g , j, and 636 a1p all use 25mm spindles,

zx9r c is 20mm

I'm sure I remember someone trying a zx6r wheel in a 9r and the sprocket and disc didn't align
