valves

my valves and carb balancing is due,, been quoted, between 180-280 depending on what needs doing,, is this a fair price,,
alternatively, does anyone local to me who knows how to do it fancy spending a few hours at mine showing me how to do it,, as i dont have a clue but would like to learn.
