Right, I don't care what anyone says... something I did to my bike on Sunday HAS had an effect on the engine braking available...
It's got to be the fact that I've removed the baffle from the Scorpion can. The ART can that I took off was connected to the standard (OE) connector pipe, whereas the Scorpion has it's own. Doesn't the OE one have a load of extra bits in it? Is the Scorpion connector pipe creating less back pressure? Is that having an effect on engine braking?
I know very little about very little, I'm just trying to understand.

I reckon so , the fs use a cat in the link pipe so that would cause more back presure/restriction , easy way to tell , chuck the std rotor back on and go for a ride

but mine exhourst is all standard and im getting similer thing. the only reason i can think of for this happening is revs to gear rato. ie if you blip the throtle is it evening out engine speed to effecientley making it feel like neutral. a similer sort of feeling when your using nutral throtle in a bend, your not pushing foward and not braking. most prob sounds aload of crap but but i know what i mean its very difficalt to explane
