Re: Ignition advancers
going by what i have read in all the advancer posts (and there seems like hundreds of them) wouldnt yours be better suited with a 2 degree due to the performance mods Mr T

Re: Ignition advancers
i aint excactly got alot of mods, just what alot here have, full system, jetting etc so a plus 2 would melt it ,maybe mine was just set up perfectly and a healthy motor overhaul?
going for another dyno session soon with JT and gonna do back to back runs with the standard one and the plus 4 to see were the gains are.
should prove interesting

Re: Ignition advancers
Just thought i'd let you all know, my hel lines which i purchased from grab (paul) went astray in the post. :x Paul was all fair and honest. we gave it an extra couple of days for them to turn up. which they didn't so paul sent me out another set of lines (out of his own pocket i presume)
I'd mentioned previously that i was fitting them on the Thursday.Clock was ticking away but low and behold i answered the front door on thursday at 11am and there where my new hel lines!
Once again i'd like to thank GRAB (paul) for sorting the problem out and getting my lines to me for when i needed them, never once did i suspect any foul play and it would never put me off buying from him again.
Which makes me think........Would it be possible to get an even BETTER deal on a set of R&G bungs, cotton reels and hooks?
Chere Paul

Re: Ignition advancers
Hi Dave,
Thanks for that mate
It does dishearten me when we (I) offer a cracking deal and then some non identified thief employed by Royal mail to kick boxes around chooses to nick them, I know there will be no investigation to ID the thief ( for fear of a strike).
The other side of the coin is when you get a really nice comment from Dave and all the other cracking customers that I have had through the site. You really are a special bunch of people
I'll continue to do all the best deals I can for everyone.
Right I'm off to fit advancer
order air filter
book dyno and dyno jet (thanks for the advice Ninjatroll)
I best get the bed ready in the doghouse

Just fitted my advancer to the C2

To anyone that is worried or concerned about fitting one, it's the EASIEST job you'll ever do on your bike (easier than tyre pressures !)
17mm socket
10 mm spanner
10 mm socket
10 minutes and job done.
Thanks to everyone on the site for letting me know about them!
All the best

Re: Ignition advancers
Recieved my advancer from Grab on Friday and fitted over weekend, just one word "WOW", what a difference really wasnt expecting it to be that good but just runs so much crisper and no flat spots just keeps pulling. I cant recommend Grab (Paul) enough for sorting this out at a great price will use him again as soon as i've calmed the wife down from buying this (she couldnt beleave i spent so much on a metal disc, they just dont understand
).
and lastly they really are that easy to fit, the hardest part i found was refitting the side fairing panel back on afterwards.
