im after one of these for the bike , are they model specific ? are there equivalents to choose from? costs ?

don't think the race ones are model specific ,
they come in diffrent ratios allowing more power or more feel ,
i don't think they do a race version with a brake stop switch so you need to fit a hyraulic switch

The one i fitted was a 19/20 rotio and i had to file a chamfer on the clip-on to allow it to fit took about 1/2 an hour to do and the differance is huge for bleeding and braking, you also need a brake switch as torque says.
I dont think they are ment for bikes with light switches but it is easy to fit.
