Hate to rain on your nicety parade there Skippy, but what you're suggesting by a donation (consideration) for someone else's intellectual property (Will be posted free to anyone who...), sounds like copyright infringement.

You cannot distribute, download, copy, etc... any published materials without obtaining from Haynes a license or permission to do so in writing. Those works are protected by copyright laws and all such rights are reserved.

Selling on a book, for which you purchase the right to use (originally) does not infringe copyright - because nothing is being copied, surely ? If this were an infringement, then all the secondhand bookshops would be pursued and would go out of business ?

Ahhhermmmmm (little trick there from Dr Dougal :D :D It's not clear if Streak is making reference to an upload or putting the book up for free delivery by postal methods.
And E1 ENOUGH :D law bollocks the self-serving civil f*cking no service are still working their way through 5.5k new laws brought about by the most honorable fucwit tony blair PM 15 years back.

I would guess he means to stick it in the post for delivery and with modesty refrains from noting his financial and time related outlay. :D

Seems like based on the number of responses that I'm seen as the enemy on this one, outnumbered 4 to 1, rather than as the voice of reason. I'm just looking out for our forum, which will be the platform of the OP.

By all means then. Post and donate away! :-"

Its just a second hand book so no problems, it might be a little more of a problem if it had been a scanned PDF file of it.

Just got yourself a ZX-9R, then do your bike, and yourself a favour, read this thread. viewtopic.php?f=21&t=28097

Please will forum members put their bike model letter, & 1 or 2 after their Profile Location. eg: Your Town & B1,2,3,4 C1,2 E1,2 F1,2
As all zx9's are all slightly different, and I get fed up having to ask which model & number, as year may not be accurate.
