Some of you may already know as there has been some enquiries that I have started putting together some bolt kits for the 9's. All the kits are stainless except for stress areas where BZP high tensile will be supplied. I can supply stainless for these areas but despite what other suppliers have said about stainless been OK be aware that stainless is not as strong as High tensile. I can however if needed supply A4-80 grade which is a stronger stainless and on a par with 8.8 high tensile but these would be a little extra.

All the prices include delivery to your door in the UK and also each individual bolt is polished before been packed. Also some of the cost for postage will be set aside and paid to the forum to help the running so everything purchased helps to keep the forum going. Thanks :D

SCREEN KITS

6 Bolt £5, 8 Bolt £6
This included polished button bolts, nylon washers, wellnuts & allen key.
If the wellnuts are not needed the price can be reduced by £2.
Flange button heads are available at £1 extra per set

FAIRING KITS

£15
Polished bolts, nylon & stainless washers to fit all visible fasteners on the fairing, bellypan, ram air covers, rear cowl (where applicable), rear chainguard & front mudguard. Allen keys supplied

HAND CONTROLS / COCKPIT

£12.75
Polished bolts, stainless washers & dome nuts to fit Handle bar mount, brake and clutch lever mounts, throttle body, top yoke mount, front fuel tank mount, mirror nuts, headlight top mount, fairing stay, front & rear brake reservoir mounts and caps

SPROCKET NUTS

£13
Polished, supplied as a set of 6 flanged hex. These have serrated faces

TANK CAP

5 Bolt £3, 7 Bolt £4
Again supplied polished

Shown here in their machined state

ENGINE KIT

£13
Polished bolts and stainless washers(optional to use) for the generator, timing, clutch & sprocket covers

Again shown with machined heads and the optional stainless washers fitted

At present I have the 9R range covered and hope to add further makes & models. Some may be more difficult than others to get the information for. If anyone is interested and I cannot get the specs I am offering a free kit for that model for anyone willing to allow me to access their bike or to tell me the specs themselves.

And finally, if your looking at changing individual bolts give us a shout as I will be happy to supply or source these for you. Cheers :D

I have just collected a '99 C2 model on Monday and as is my wont I shall be taking the fairing of for a tinker - probably not till the end of the season. However I will want to replace the existing bolts and screen screws, do you recommend stainless or black japanned as per originals? Also how do you take payment?

Hi,

I would recommend anything that's pretty maintainance free & corrosion resistant. I personally only do stainless for that reason :D
