Hi Shamus,

Do the C crash bung kits come with a new bottle or a reco please? And (prob a better question) are they still available?

THanks
Mark

Hi Mark,

Yes they are still available. The bungs come with a modified coolant bottle so aren't new, just a modification to your existing one.

Great news! Thanks Shamus. My bottle is cactus (inspection window is cracked and about had it).

I'll shoot over a PM next pay.

The supplier for the tri-oval end caps is very unreliable so have been sticking mainly to oval cans which the caps come from a more reliable and better quality supplier. At present I only have a big bore (2.5") outlet in a slash cut. I personally think it's the best look, I run this on my triple. Mine has the fish weave carbon but I can do standard carbon too.

Are there any pics of the others you mention? I'm trying to keep the volume down a bit.
At present i have an Sp 300mm slash cut 2 1/2" outlet and the bugger breaks windows with no DB killer.

TBH mate if your wanting a quieter can the ones I do probably won't suit you, they are on the loud side. I've had them on my last few bikes so it's difficult to compare but the MTC can I had like for like was quieter than mine. Wayne made a comment on the FB page upon been asked re. a comparison:

"Have you ever heard a SP can? If you have whats the comparison?

Wayne Redhead
"It`s a hard one to answer tbh because the sound is always a personal taste but i would of gone with my D&D over an spe tbh loved the bassy grumble and the burble down from it and the bex can has all the same qulities of sound just in an angrier sort of way"

This may give you an idea because D&D 'aint known for been quiet. Maybe PM Wayne direct or Coops and they'll give you an opinion but like I say mine aren't quiet. Hope this helps.

Well, it's nearly nine years after the first post, but am wondering if you're still selling the crash bungs. I have a 2000 9R that I just bought with only 6,000 miles on it and it was in nearly museum condition until I dropped it on the right side in the garage :(

I wish I hadn't put off asking about these. I'm in the US, btw.
