Update on this is a 04/05 '10 front wheel does not fit in a standard '9R front end. Not without some machining wizardry at least!

So my shiny '10R wheel is up for sale - see bike bits section

||No it won't be the same on an E model as your arm pivot is 25mm compared to the C's 20mm , I don't think a C pivot would fit an E but I'm not 100% on that

Thanks Steve, I'd replied to the original question last year as he'd PM'd me first!

I'll post some more pics of the bike once it's finally sprayed and tidyed up - I had to rebuild it before I planned due to a pending house move.

Only just seen this Q sorry. An F model one would, but C and E models won't because the shock reservoir sticks out into the swingarm space rather than mounting piggy back style.

is this the only thing stopping it fitting an E2?

No not the only thing ,

for starters an zx9r E has 25mm wheel spindles compared to the 04/05 zx10's 20mm , so you would need to alter the wheel pivot/spindle slots by 2.5mm top and bottom , then use your E's chain adjuster blocks

Also you would need to run a zx9r F model shock or a zx10r shock with the chamber facing across the bike rather than along as your E

if you are using '06-'07 10R swing arm than stock 9R shock will fit
