Hello chaps

I did this mod today and it works great. Really easy to do too. I lowered my gear level height to compensate, but I'm struggling to lower my rear brake lever height.... I just cant seem to lower it!

I've googled it but nothing turned up. Any tips on how to do it?

Cheers,

Snags

Ok, I just broke down and ordered a pair of these. I'm all about doing anything I can to make the bike more comfortable. I didn't order them before because I was just about to leave for Iraq.

More toys! :D

Now I just need one of these:

Or one of these if it wasn't so outrageously expensive! But they used a good bike for an example!

I'm not sure about this mod. As the OP says it moves your legs/feet further backwards, which leaves you in a more crouched racing position. It's likely that will be uncomfortable over long journeys. Additionally it moves the pegs closer to the pillion's toe so you might get a kick off them every once in a while.

I just finished a 1000 mile round trip in two days with this modification and a set of Helibars.

The Airhawk R seat helped a lot too! ;)

I mounted my relaxed pegs but couldn't tell any difference in the leg position. Also, I adjusted the brake pedal all the way down but it was still much too high for my tastes. So after a few days I switched back to the original footpegs. I never really had a problem with the leg position on the bike anyway. I just thought maybe it would feel comfier.

Anyone know if these footpegs are still available? Can't seem to find anything listed anywhere with those part no's, but i can find some listed as part no N0006.1AD. Are these the same/ updated part?
