A local dealer has a really good deal on these tires, ($260 cdn a pair incl taxes and install)but I never even heard of the company before seeing the ad. Found a couple reviews that made them sound pretty good, but would really like to hear from someone(s) who's actually tried them out before laying out cash. Anyone here tried them or talked to anyone who has?

Nope never heard of them Czech company http://www.mitasag.com/
Seem to be popular for the adventurer bikes....not very good reviews
If you get the same amaazon as UK Q2's were on there last week for around £160 for the pair.

Neighbour has them on his k5 GSXR1000, cannot fault them, he says for the money they are excellent. He rattles on as well!
They had a stand at Motorcycle live, the guy said they had been well tested across loads of tracks in blind tests and feedback was very good.

Good tyre for that money .. :smt023
There were some problems and tyre failures at high speeds when first Sport Force came out,but that was sorted ..
I'd rather go with SPORT FORCE +.. My best mate has them and in first 2000km so far, in dry conditions, fast road riding, deep(est) lean angles, they were excellent =D>

Maxxis did the same keeping the price low as a new product launch, the road sports tyre has better reviews than the rubber for adventure bikes,
Sidewall blistering is a production/laminating QA problem that can happen with any/all manufacturers ....good photo there J1

Thanks for the replies. I had pretty much decided on trying a set, but now the dealer tells me he isn't open on Saturdays, and the hundred mile round trip in my truck PLUS the loss of an afternoon's pay means I'm better off just buying a set of Dunlop Q3s on line.
