Please will forum members put their bike model letter, & 1 or 2 after their Profile Location. eg: Your Town & B1,2,3,4 C1,2 E1,2 F1,2
As all zx9's are all slightly different, and I get fed up having to ask which model & number, as year may not be accurate.

I have some of this going on, where the leading edge of the water sipes on the edge of the rear tire are raised.

It's suppose to indicate the rebound damping is either too fast or too slow. My guess would be too slow, but then I'm not concerned, so long as safety isn't compromised, which I don't think it is. I'll take a more plush ride over freeway expansion joints and edges on my tires or being crippled after a long ride like other sportbike riders. A few others have said much the same thing, I suppose to stress the alarm I should be feeling or maybe because of the lost performance I could be missing out on from a setup that's not ideal for the way I ride. =;

Not typically used on ZX9R's but given the option for track use, it would be my 1st choice. Dunlop NTEC tires have a firm sidewall construction which offer plenty of feedback to the rider.

Attached is my review of the KR449 rear slick, Medium compound as fitted onto a Daytona 675 track bike.
The KR449 fits onto a 5.5" rim and the KR108 will fit a 6.0" rim.
I prefer the 449 anyway as it is less expensive.
