OK, my honest opinion here is that this collection was done in the memory of Mike, Mikes wife indicated the charity she wanted it to go to and it seems impossible to get the said money paid, i would say, just send it to Mikes Wife, i would feel more comfortable with that than sending it to the UK equivalent, souly because it was done in Mikes memory, i would fully support any fundraising for the UK equivalent any time but feel it would only be appropriate to send the monies over the pond, just my opinion and i am only one of many but thats how i see it, failing that, give me the charity name and 1 week and i will kick ass and try sort it, i wouldnt have a problem with trying that. Not saying you are doing anything wrong admin but i have a knack with getting to speak to who i want to and if i dont, nothing lost ;)

We all want the same and as you put so rightly put it, it was in memory of Mike and Mike's wife indicated where it should go.
Let Jan and Si know before you do a 'Lethal Weapon' on the US please

Thanks you for your comments. I too think we should make every effort to get this money where it was intended. I haven't given up just yet and I am currently trying to get hold of Mike's wife. I will keep you all updated.

We have managed to get in touch by phone with ESRCNY and we have discovered that the guy in charge has been seriously ill for a while recently, which explains the lack of communication.

We have now made arrangements with him to get the money to them as soon as possible.

He also told us that they held a soccer match in memory of Mike at the weekend.
